moved to Kingston in 1980. I started to go to more dances like Killamanjiro, Stone Love, Bass Oddesey and Metro Media. A few years later I decided to leave Jamaica and move to Manchester, England . I then had to become familiar with the English sound systems. In an old car I put a stereo system in it and started to play CD’s.

The car system was heavy with a deep bass line. I went to a few parties and I knew I wanted to get back into music. A guy offered my 1 hour play but after 5 hours I still didn’t get to play. This frustrated me so when I got home I went to Manchester City Centre with a few pounds and bought a full sound system with the money I had. This made me so happy as I had my own system again to enjoy music.

I started getting a few event bookings for parties which I enjoyed. Then I sold this system and upgraded to another system . In total I had 4 systems. I started played on an online radio station in Birmingham call Telstream Radio with Fada Big John. Further on in the news in 2018 a guy called me for a sound clash at the Big Western in Moss Side with friends from England and Jamaica. It was a challenging clash but I managed to win it.

After this I got to love the music more and more. I would like to enter another clash again in the future although it costs a lot of money to get a winning dub plate. A friend who came to the clash gave me a radio station for free and I called this Morevybz Radio.
